Behind the Kit

I'm Dave D'Amore, a Melbourne-based professional drummer with around 30 years of playing experience. My background spans progressive rock, metal, fusion and groove-based music. I bring that experience to recording acoustic drum performances shaped around your music, with feel, dynamics and creativity serving the song.

I also play guitar and bass, and have experience in songwriting, arrangements, recording, production and mixing. That broader perspective helps me understand how drum parts interact with other instruments and develop performances that complement the whole arrangement.
